Policies
We adhere to the following policies:
- Check In - between 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm
- Check Out - 11:00 am (no exceptions!)
- No smoking - outside only as long as butt receptacle is used
- Pets negotiable - non-refundable deposit required (see Pet
Policy below)
- Children are welcome - do not leave them unattended or allow
them to roam the property unsupervised
- Cancellations - those made up to 15 days prior to check in are
not charged. Others & no-shows will be charged 50% of rent.
- Pet Policy - pets are negotiable when reserving Shadow Wood.
We allow only well trained dogs (up to two). Pet owners are
required to clean up and dispose of scat. Pets are not to be
left alone, unsupervised, allowed to roam free or chained/tied
outside at night or when you leave. A non-refundable deposit
of $25 per dog is required (ask about possible exemptions for
service animals). The owners of Shadow Wood reserve the
right to refuse to accept any pet if the pet is found to be
unacceptable for any reason (ie - bad behavior, barking, poor
training, etc.).
Shadow Wood is privately owned and the owners reserve the
right to refuse service to anyone. Although we strive to provide
safe and secure accommodations, we will not be responsible for
accidents or injury to guests or loss of valuables of any kind.
We also reserve the right to charge damage/theft/smoking/
excessive cleaning/lost key replacement fees and evict violators
of policies without refund.

Ask about discounts for extended stays.
- $40.00 per night for one person
- $65.00 per night for two people
- $ 7.50 per night for each additional person (up to 4)
- $25.00 non-refundable deposit for each pet (see Pet
Policy above)
- $20.00 refundable cleaning deposit
- Valid Visa or Master Card required for security deposit
- Method of Payment: Visa, Master Card, cash, checks and
money orders are acceptable
