minute decision to get away for a
day or two or an entire month. We
can accommodate up to six people.
We welcome children and accept
pets (see Pet Policy on Policies page).
Advanced reservations are not
necessary, but we do accept them.
Shadow Wood is a self-contained
22 foot camper snuggled in the
shade under the trees on private
property just east of Ashford,
about five miles from the main
entrance to Mt. Rainier.
There is a fully equipped kitchen
and full bathroom. Linens, towels,
dishes, cooking utensils, coffee,
tea and popcorn are provided.
There is a BBQ for your use (you
will need to supply your own
charcoal and lighter fluid).
A comfortable fire pit supplied
with wood is available for your
enjoyment. There is also a TV
for playing DVDs and CDs (no
local reception at this time) and
am AM/FM/Cassette player with
stereo speakers built into the
ceiling.
